Infinity War is the longest MCU entry, clocking in at an impressive 149 minutes, so it’s appropriate that there’ll be loads of extra features.
The Blu-ray will have a range of featurettes, including:
‘Strange Alchemy‘ (5.08 mins), which will explain why specific characters were teamed up in the movie.
‘The Mad Titan‘ (6.34 mins), examining Thanos’ evolution from comics to film.
‘Beyond The Battle: Titan‘ (9.36), which will allow you to go behind the scenes of the epic clash with Thanos on his home turf.
‘Beyond The Battle: Wakanda‘ (10.58), another behind the scenes featurette focusing on a specific scrap, this one will deconstruct the final battle of the film – described as ‘the most massive and challenging battle Marvel has ever attempted.’
The release will also contain ten minutes of deleted scenes.
‘Happy Knows Best‘ (1.23) – Tony and Pepper spar over details of their upcoming wedding – until a hassled Happy Hogan pulls up with an urgent request.
‘Hunt For The Mind Stone‘ (1.24) – On a darkened street, Wanda Maximoff and the wounded Vision attempt to hide from Thanos’ brutal allies.
‘The Guardians Get Their Groove Back‘ (3.20) – As Peter Quill and Drax argue over their failed mission to Knowhere, Mantis interrupts with news.
‘A Father’s Choice‘ (4.00) – Thanos confronts Gamora with a vision from her past – and with lying to him about the Soul Stone.
Add in a gag reel and an audio commentary from the Russo brothers, joined by writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and that’s a pretty packed set.
Fan who buy digitally will also get a cool sounding exclusive, ‘A Directors Roundtable‘ (32 mins), which features eight of Marvel’s most significant directors (including the Russos, Joss Whedon, Jon Favreau, James Gunn, Ryan Coogler, Peyton Reed and Taika Waititi) reflecting on ten years of the MCU.
