Ashley Tisdale has come a long way from her days working the candy counter at the Tipton Hotel. The Disney Channel alum now has her own interior design business, Frenshe Interiors, inspired by her lifestyle blog Frenshe. The brand popped up on Instagram this past February. "Welcome to my passion project," the actress wrote alongside a photo of a kitchen in her former home that she had renovated with her dad. In the post, Tisdale announced that they had started to take on their own clients.

Architectural Digest recently sat down with the 35-year-old, who welcomed her first child with her husband Christopher French last month, to get the scoop on how Frenshe Interiors came about. As it turns out, her business partner is also who piqued her interest in design. "My first home was built from the ground up by my dad, Mike Tisdale, and I think that’s when I became super creative with homes," she told the outlet. She also credits actress Diane Keaton, who dabbles in house flipping, for inspiring her to do the same.

Like any up-and-coming designer, Tisdale started studying the greats and learning everything she could. In fact, she even took Kelly Wearstler's MasterClass, as she wrote on Instagram in February. "Manifesting one day I will work with her," she wrote in the caption.

In terms of her own personal style, she tells AD that doesn't have a set definition, but rather: "I like to let each house speak to me, and I go from there." As she starts to grow Freshne Interiors, she is clear on what her goal is: to have fun. Her main job remains acting, but much like Keaton, she enjoys being creative in other spaces.
