17 Dec – Singer Ashira recently stressed that the decision for her to work part-time at a restaurant was her own, and not made by husband Bad due to his health condition.

The "Gegar Vaganza" alumna, who was reported to have started doing odd jobs from washing dishes to delivering food in Puchong, stressed that people should not make speculations about the work she does.

"I was not forced to do it. Nobody forced me to, I decided to do it myself. I didn't decide to work because Bad is ill, or that he forced me to, or that I was forced to do it," she said. "Bad didn't ask me to do it, but was not against it as well. I wanted to do it. I got bored staying home."

Ashira also expressed hope that fans and netizens will not beg for others to help her as she is still able to take care of her family.

"Thank you for your prayers. No need to worry about me. May Allah ease everything," she added.

Ashira tied the knot with Badrul Izhan Yeop Abdullah (aka Bad), a member of the music group Indigo in March 2021 after meeting in the seventh season of the aforementioned ASTRO reality show. It is a second marriage for both of them.

However, in July this year, the 46-year-old singer revealed that he had to have his toes amputated due to diabetes.
