‘Arrow’ Season 5 Trailer Teases Vigilante, Mr. Terrific Joining Team Arrow (Video)
“Arrow” Season 5 is all about building a new Team Arrow, as the first trailer for the return of the CW superhero drama suggests.
The first trailer was unveiled Saturday during the show’s panel at the San Diego Comic-Con.
After the death of the Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) in Season 4, Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) close circle of superheroes mostly disbanded, Thea (Willa Holland) and Diggle (David Ramsay) both leaving town, with only Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) still by his side as he accepted the role of Mayor of Star City.

So Season 5 will see many new faces showing up in the Arrowcave, with Echo Kellum’s Mr. Terrific bumped up to series regular and newcomers like Josh Segarra, who will play Adrian Chase, aka Vigilante, Madison McLaughlin as Evelyn Sharp and Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog.
Additionally, Cassidy is not exactly leaving the Arrowverse, and will appear in at least the Season 5 premiere episode of “Arrow,” cast and crew announced during the show’s panel.

Cassidy is now a series regular across all Arrowverse shows, which include “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow” and now “Supergirl” as well.
“Arrow” Season 5 will premiere Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
