Arnold Schwarzenegger photobombs tourists in Paris
Perhaps he’s not getting enough attention following the axing of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’, or maybe he just loves tourists.
Either way, Arnold Schwarzenegger was larking about the French capital of Paris on his bike, when he decided to photobomb a group from Thailand visiting the Eiffel Tower.
In a rather ineffectual disguise of a camo jacket, shorts and dark glasses, Arnie later thanked the group on his Instagram page for ‘letting me crash your photo!’
One of the party, posting on a Thai social media site, called Schwarzenegger a ‘badass’ for the move, adding that they only realised who it was after the photo was taken and he’d ridden off.
The ‘Terminator’ legend has been taking in a number of the popular tourist spots, including Notre Dame and Les Invalides, documenting it all on social media.
“Fantastic bike ride through Paris. I cannot say this enough: to truly appreciate a city, get on a bike,” he wrote.
But he’s not just in town for the tourist trail – he was meeting with French President Francois Hollande and Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris, for a special ceremony at the Elysee Palace.
Arnie was given the coveted medal of the Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur, given him for his tireless environmental work.
