'Army of One' Clip: Watch Nicolas Cage Battle Osama Bin Laden (Exclusive)

The new Nicolas Cage thriller Army of One has earned plenty of attention for its bonkers-sounding premise: Cage plays an unemployed handyman who receives a message from God (in the form of Russell Brand) that it’s his duty to capture Osama Bin Laden.

Now you can get a better sense of the film’s madcap tone in the exclusive clip above. In it, Gary Faulkner (Cage) wakes up to find himself face-to-face with the notorious terrorist (Amer Chadha-Patel) in a Pakistani cave. After taunting each other with talk of pinball machines and martyrdom, the men each grab swords and proceed to have an all-out, steel-thrashing duel. Zero Dark Thirty this isn’t.

One of three Cage movies awaiting release within the next week, Army of One was directed by Larry Charles (Borat, Brüno) from a script by Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman (Draft Day). It also features Wendi McLendon-Covey, Matthew Modine, Rainn Wilson, Paul Scheer, and Will Sasso.

The film opens in limited release and digital on Nov. 4 and VOD, DVD, and Blu-ray on Nov. 11. Watch the trailer:
