Arjo Atayde donates service vehicles to QC's barangays

1 Jul – Arjo Atayde was recently revealed to have donated several service vehicles for the use of barangays around Quezon City.

On 29 June, the Quezon City Government shared the news on Facebook with several photos of the said trucks, writing, "Thank you very much to Arjo Atayde for donating service vehicles to the barangays of the city's District 1."

"These vehicles will be used by our barangays to deliver service and action more quickly in their duty to the city," it added.

Among the barangays that will receive the said vehicles include NS Amoranto, Manresa, St. Peter, Sto. Cristo, Maharlika and San Antonio.

The turnover ceremony was held at the Quezon Memorial Circle and was led by Mayor Joy Belmonte. Present at the event were Councilors TJ Calalay, Doray Delarmente, Ollie Belmonte, Mayen Juico, and Bernard Herrera, among others.

On the other hand, Inquirer reported that Atayde's mother Sylvia Sanchez recently dismissed rumours that the actor will be running for congress against Aiko Melendez to represent Quezon City's District 5.
