Arjo Atayde to appear on Maine Mendoza's sitcom
26 Feb - Fans of real life couple Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza will be happy to know that the two stars will be reuniting in an episode of Mendoza's GMA sitcom, "Daddy's Gurl".
As reported on GMA News, Atayde, who sat down with Mendoza to speak to Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras", stated that he and Mendoza first worked together in the 2018 MMFF entry, "Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles" and that the upcoming episode of the sitcom would be their second one.
"I'm very happy that I got to work with her again, and again it's on her birthday, so it's extra special to me. And building memories with her, so this is all the memories together we are building, and I'm very happy," he said.
Atayde added that it's hard to explain his true feelings, but that he was excited about reuniting with Mendoza on screen.
On the other hand, Mendoza simply said that she found it funny that Atayde was nervous on the set despite being a more experienced actor that she.
When asked about their plans on Mendoza's upcoming 26th birthday, the actor only responded, "We'll have a surprise."
