Ariel Lin's camp denies rumours of retirement

13 Jul – Ariel Lin's camp has recently dismissed rumours that the Taiwanese actress is planning to retire from showbiz soon.

As reported on Sinchew, rumours of Ariel's retirement sparked recently, after netizens found out that her work studio has been referred to as "dissolved" on the Chinese Tianyancha app, which stores information on Chinese enterprises.

The supposed dissolution set tongues wagging, with many believing that it also means that the actress, who has long expressed her plan to have children with her husband Charles, will finally stop acting. The couple were married in 2014.

However, when asked about this, Ariel's manager denied that the actress is withdrawing from the industry.

"Ariel's work is still ongoing and next year's filming is also currently in the plan. As long as there is a good project, she will take it. The dissolution of the studio does not affect her work," the manager added.

However, the manager made no explanation as to why the studio was dissolved.
