This is Ariana Grande’s number one beauty product must-have

Ariana Grande is only 23 years old, but she’s managed to define her signature style in a way that is both sophisticated and playful at the same time. It’s pretty clear that she has a ton of fun when it comes to her glam looks, and she always strikes the perfect balance between grown up and youthful… something that’s hard for most women her age to achieve so flawlessly.

Ariana sat down with Byrdie to share some of her beauty tips, and discussed her must-haves when it comes to makeup. Unsurprisingly, she’s all about the eyes, and it all comes thanks to her childhood beauty inspirations: her mom, Joan, and Scary Spice. A true ’90s child!

She says, “I remember being like, ‘I wanna look like a mix of my mom and Scary Spice.’ I remember saying those words when I was a little girl—that was the goal, when I was, like, 4.” The top beauty tip she learned from Momma Grande? “My mom always does a cat eye, too—a thick black line on top.”

Ariana is equally devoted to her lash extensions. “I love lashes. I feel like I could be completely naked but have lashes, and I’d be fine. Like, I’ll forget! Just walk out naked and completely forget.”

However, when she wants some oomph on those fluttery, flirty lashes of hers… she has one go-to mascara. Her number one choice is MAC’s Haute & Naughty ($23), which she says keeps her lashes “clumpy, but also clean,” adding “Sometimes I want both!”

Ariana has been a spokesperson for MAC’s Viva Glam campaign for the past year, and she loves to rock their products, and says her mom loves the Viva Glam lipsticks her daughter designed.
