Ariana Grande has unveiled a new chestnut brown hairstyle

Ariana took to Instagram to flaunt her new 'do, sharing a series of striking photos for her 87 million followers in which she also shows off her style credentials in a pale brown jumpsuit, before changing into a white bandeau top and burgundy skater skirt.

The Dangerous Woman hitmaker has been rocking blonde hues over recent months, but has now reverted back to her natural brunette locks, opting for a glossy chestnut brown for ultimate autumnal beauty.

To help her create her edgy new 'do, Ariana turned to celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton. "@arianagrande ponyyyy," he captioned a photo of the singer on his own Instagram account. "Changed it up with a new Color and #braids #details."

The star added hair extensions to her look for extra wow factor

It comes as no surprise that Ariana turned to Chris for a helping hand – he already boasts a series of A-list clients including Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Rita Ora and Jourdan Dunn.

There's no doubt that Ariana's ponytail has become the star's trademark look, and she has previously revealed the reason why she favours the style.

Ariana has previously rocked a blonde dip dye hairstyle

"This is what makes me comfortable," she admitted to Byrdie. "And I feel like there's a thousand different ways to do a ponytail. A million!"

Despite rarely straying from her trademark super smooth 'do, Ariana has already experimented with a range of different colours and shades this year. Not only did she surprise fans by going platinum blonde for the cover of her new album Focus, but she also mixed brunette and blonde shades using a dip dye effect at the Grammys.
