Apparently Pete Davidson Told Fans He Was High When He Proposed to Ariana Grande

So, Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande got engaged after just weeks of dating, which, we can all agree, means they must be head-over-heels in love! And you're probably wondering how Pete popped the question, right? Like, did he take Ariana on a romantic beach stroll and get down on one knee? Did he rent some extravagant hot air balloon and spell out "Will U Marry Me It's Lit" in a corn field?

NONE OF THE ABOVE. Instead, he proposed while they were in bed and he was high. At least that's what he allegedly told fans at a comedy show.

The Saturday Night Live star did a surprise standup set for charity at A.V. Zogg Middle School in Liverpool, New York, over the weekend-and an attendee named Carly tweeted that he told his proposal story during a Q&A session after the set.

By the way, no, Carly doesn't know whether or not Pete was joking:
