Celebs were out in droves on Monday night—both for the CFDA Fashion Awards and for Odell Beckham Jr.'s birthday party (if you were really cool, you attended both). Stars including but very much not limited to Kim Kardashian, Lori Harvey, Winnie Harlow, EmRata, Ashley Graham were at the event, which took place at WSA in NYC.
But sources tell Page Six that the A-list guests were not thrilled about OBJ's choice of party invite. Which, according to one insider who did not hold back, was “an ugly bouquet of orange carnations with a note saying Odell looked forward to seeing them.” Oh, and this same anonymous person said that celebs were calling each other to talk shit.
I mean....considering the rest of us are living in a world where party invites consist of a last minute text with some vague address and a request to BYOB, orange carnations sound pretty great. But apparently celebs are used to better!
“It was like a bouquet from a bodega, literally," the source added, insulting bodegas in the process. "For sure a fuck up by someone on his team. Who sends ten orange carnations to A-list celebs?” Plus, the flowers weren’t “even in a case,” and were merely in a “paper wrap,” which was deeply troubling to the recipients.
Anyway, after grumpily adding “send orange roses at least,” the source also noted that OBJ sent everyone a matching orange bottle of Pedialyte along with the flowers (he has a brand deal with them), so do with that information what you will.
