'RHOC' Star Shannon Beador Finalizes Divorce From Ex-Husband David
Shannon Beador is officially single.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star and her ex-husband, David, have privately finalized their divorce, ET has learned. "Shannon is glad it's finally over. She is ready for her next chapter," a source tells ET.
The news comes over a year after Shannon filed for divorce on Dec. 1, 2017. They had been married since 2000 and share three children together.
Shannon tearfully confessed that she and David were officially going their separate ways during RHOC's season 12 reunion -- after years of them trying to rebuild their relationship following David's extramarital affair.
During a July 2018 interview with ET, Shannon said she had found a "new identity" post-split. "I think that I've always been kind of a fun person, but I feel like I'm back, so to speak. And, you know, I'm in control of myself,” she said."I get to make my own decisions and I'm excited about that."
"I was a big proponent of, you know, keeping my marriage together and now that we aren't together, as unfortunate as it is, especially for my children, it is the best and only decision," Shannon shared. "I would never want to go back to that marriage. I think that I'm very happy today and I'm blessed and grateful for everything that I have right now, and the people in my life, so it's all good."
