7 Nov– Antoinette Jadaone recently revealed that the new James Reid and Momoland's Nancy series will not be your typical Filipino teleserye, but one that follows a Korean drama format.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the director, who spoke about the new drama, titled "Soulmate Project", stated that unlike a usual Pinoy teleserye, the new series will only have 13 episodes.
"It's not like how we do teleserye where you do it per script every day, with a weekly script," she said.
Jadaone, who is also writing the script for the said series, stated that she is currently finishing the script for a 2020 production.
"It's more my kind of process. I write the whole series until it is complete, unlike in teleseryes where you never know when it will end," she said.
However, she admitted that it still poses a challenge as it is neither like a teleserye nor even a movie.
"It's not the same as writing a screenplay. It's harder to write a series. But I will do it," she said with a laugh.
