Anthony Wong gets employment gold card for Taiwan
20 Apr – It looks like Anthony Wong will be working more and more in Taiwan, now that it was revealed that the Hong Kong actor has been granted the employment gold card.
As reported on Epoch Times, on 18 April, the National Development Council of Taiwan confirmed that the actor's application for the Employment Gold Card Permits for Foreign Special Professionals has been approved and will be valid for three years. He made the application last year.
According to the laws, this means that Anthony will not need to apply beforehand to work in Taiwan during the validity period of the gold card, and can enjoy income tax relief as well as health insurance.
It also looks like the actor is already back in Taiwan, after sharing photos of the food and delicacies on his social media account on 13 April, and wrote, "Day one" - meaning that he is now in quarantine again for a new project.
On the other hand, his previous project, the LINE TV's "Friends by Food Truck" responded well after it was aired earlier, and that the production unit reportedly is already preparing for the second season.
