"Another Era" postpones airing date

11 Jul – Although "Another Era" was originally scheduled to premiere at the end of July, TVB producer Kwan Shu Ming confirmed that his new drama will be postponing its airing date.

As reported on HK01, the producer, who spoke to the media about the delay, shared that the decision was made after it was revealed that it has yet to receive an approval for broadcast in mainland China.

"We do hope to air the drama as soon as possible. But since the drama requires the license from mainland, we just have to wait for the approval. I don't think the license will be processed in time," he said.

Kwan added that because of that, they have yet to start promoting the drama or schedule interviews with the media.

On the other hand, it was rumoured that the drama will instead be aired in August.

"Another Era" is a spin-off of TVB's 1999 long-running drama, "At the Threshold of an Era". It co-stars Frankie Lam, Roger Kwok, Tavia Yeung, and Niki Chow.
