Another ala "Gone Girl" movie in the making

Amber Heard will be headlining the crime thriller based on a Peter Swanson novel

Amber Heard will star in "The Kind Worth Killing".

28 Mar – Think "Gone Girl" and "The Girl on the Train", you'll get a rough idea of what Amber Heard's next movie will be about.

The 30-year-old has been tapped to star in the upcoming crime thriller, "The Kind Worth Killing", according to Deadline.

The movie, based on a 2015 novel of the same name by Peter Swanson, will be in the same vein as the two aforementioned movies.

It follows Lily Kintner and Ted Severson who meet on a late-night flight from London to Boston. When Ted confesses that he has thoughts of killing his wife, Lily offers to help and together they plot to kill her, forming a strange, twisted bond as they do so.

Polish director Agnieszka Holland, whose 2011 movie "In Darkness" was a Best Foreign Language Film nominee at the 84th Academy Awards, will be helming the adaptation.

Heard is currently busy training for her DC role Mera, which she will debut on the big screen in the upcoming Zack Snyder-helmed "Justice League", releasing in cinemas this November.

She will play Mera again in 2018's "Aquaman" opposite Jason Momoa.
