Annie Liu gears up for North Pole Marathon 2019
27 Mar – Taiwanese actress Annie Liu is set to participate in the upcoming North Pole Marathon 2019.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the official meeting for the upcoming event recently, shared that the upcoming marathon would be one of the biggest challenges she would partake in her life.
"I will depart early, and try to adapt to the environment and time difference first," she said.
Annie revealed that she will stay in the local area for two weeks and plans to see "the Northern Lights and polar bears".
The actress also admitted that she gained an additional ten pounds before the race, and prepared herself physically for it.
"All the other runners are professionals. I am like a baby compared to them. But I will give my 100 percent effort. Even if I can't run all the way, I will make sure to get to the finish line," she said.
The North Pole Marathon 2019 will be held on 9 April.
