Anne Curtis nominated Best Actress at Luna Awards

14 Nov – 2019 really is a great year for Anne Curtis. After announcing her pregnancy last weekend, it was revealed that she has also been nominated Best Actress at the upcoming Luna Awards.

As reported on Inquirer, in a list of nominations released by the organiser of the 37th edition of the said awards recently, it was revealed that Curtis has been nominated for her role in the 2018 film, "Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story".

Curtis will be facing competition from the likes of Angelica Panganiban ("Exes Baggage"), Glaiza de Castro ("Liway"), Ai Ai delas Alas ("School Service"), and Agot Isidro ("Changing Partners").

Her leading man Dingdong Dantes is also nominated in the Best Actor category, which sees competition from stars that include Eddie Garcia and Christian Bables.

On the other hand, films "Signal Rock" and "Liway" both tied with most nominations at nine, including Best Motion Pictures, Best Screenplay, and Best Director.

The 37th Luna Awards will be held on 30 November at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater at BGC, Taguig City.
