Anne Curtis does her own stunt in "Buy Bust"

16 Jul – Anne Curtis admitted that she had done a lot of the stunts in her new movie, "Buy Bust" all on her own.

As reported on Rappler, the actress who appeared at the press conference of the said movie recently, revealed that she underwent intense training for six months before filming the movie, including learning how to handle firearms, and learning martial arts.

"I even had knife training. I trained with the Scout Rangers, and spent a day with them just to learn how they talk and move," she said.

Curtis also revealed that she even talked to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) about their preparation for a buy bust.

"It was a lot of physical and mental training for this role," she said, adding that she was even physically injured one time when she was accidentally punched in the face.

"But it's okay, it was fun," she said.

In Erik Matti's "Buy Bust", Curtis plays the role of a PDEA agent who finds herself and her team being set up during a buy bust. It co-stars Brandon Vera, Arjo Atayde, Joross Gamboa, AJ Muhlach, and Mara Lopez.
