Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes comfortable with each other
24 May – It was 20 years ago that Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes met and worked with each other on the GMA-7 youth-oriented series, "TGIS" - which is why their reunion seemed a long time coming.
As reported on PEP, the two stars who star in the new movie, "Sid & Aya", admitted that it was easy for them to find the chemistry as they have already become comfortable with each other since working on "TGIS".
"When I was with Dong 20 years ago, I was very young. I was just a girl. After 20 years in the making, I guess it helped in a way that we've worked together before," she said.
Dantes recalled that Curtis was only 13 when they starred in "TGIS". He was 18 at the time.
"The familiarity didn't go away even after 20 years. Personally, I think I am somehow stuck in the '90s, and the theme of the film is somehow related to the people from the '90s," he said.
Directed by Irene Villamor, the upcoming movie is set to premiere on 30 May.
