Anne Curtis on comeback: Not until Dahlia is one!

11 Nov – Anne Curtis recently admitted that she has received a few offers for a movie comeback, but she is yet to be fully ready to return to work anytime soon.

As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress, who spoke to Tim Yap in an interview, shared that she is not in a rush to restart her acting career as she would like to be there for her daughter Dahlia in the first year of her life.

"I just feel very happy and blessed that I get to spend this much time with her. We're together 24/7," she said.

Asked if she has received any offer, Curtis said that she hasn't been reading scripts but will probably do so next year as soon as she arrives home in the Philippines.

It is noted that the actress is currently residing in Australia with her husband Erwan Heussaff.

"I don't think I will start shooting until Dahlia is 1," she added.

As to what kind of movies she would prefer, Curtis - who has been taking on projects of diverse genres over the years, from the action movie "Buy Bust" to horror "Aurora" - stated that she would like to add to the versatility of her filmography.

"It makes it more fun for me, being able to challenge myself with different roles that are completely different from one another," she added.
