Ann Hui's new movie to open Shanghai Film Festival
22 May - It was revealed that Ann Hui's new directorial effort, "Our Time Will Come" has been selected as the opening film at this year's Shanghai International Film Festival.
The movie, which stars Zhou Xun and Eddie Peng, revolves around the events during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong, which lasted more than three years.
Aside from being the opening film, the upcoming movie has also been selected as one of the eight movies vying for the Golden Goblet Award. Others include US movie, "Brigsby Bear", and Japan's "Reminiscence".
The movie will be judged by eight members of the jury, including Chinese director Cao Baoping, and actress Xu Qing.
The Shanghai International Film Festival will be held from 17 to 26 July.
