Ann Coulter Gets Burned at Rob Lowe’s Comedy Central Roast
Comedians who participated in Comedy Central’s roast of Rob Lowe instead wound up pointing their arrows at another target on Saturday night — conservative pundit Ann Coulter.
Although conservative firebrand Coulter is best known for taking on a prickly tone with the left-leaning media, she joined funny folks at the taping of the “R oast of Rob Lowe” an d immediately found herself the object of their playful ridicule.
“She seems stiff and conservative, but Ann gets wild in the sheets. Just ask the Klan,” joked roast master David Spade. “It looks like she’s having a good time. I haven’t seen her laugh this hard since Trayvon Martin got shot.”

Spade wasn’t alone in taking aim at Coulter. Indeed, over the course of the evening, Lowe’s comedy-material-rich history — including a 1988 sex tape, lawsuits against three former employees and a handful of career bombs — took a back seat to the insults that were hurled in Coulter’s direction.
“Ann Coulter wants to help Trump make America great again. You can start by wearing a burka,” said roast veteran Jeff Ross. And he went on: “That voice, it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard in an inner-city school you wanna defund.” And on: “Ann’s against gay marriage. What’s your thinking on that? If I can’t get a husband they shouldn’t, either?”
But Coulter had her reason to be there, and it had nothing to go with comedy — or Lowe, for that matter. “I’m only here for all the love and respect I have for Rob Lowe and all of the talented performers tonight,” she said sarcastically. “It has nothing to do with the book I published four days ago.”

With that, she held up her 12th book, “In Trump We Trust.”
