Anjaylia Chan announces engagement
27 Apr - Actress Anjaylia Chan recently revealed that she and boyfriend Epaphras Wong are now engaged.
The actress announced the news online with a photo of them together, and the verse from the Bible, "1 John 4:19, We love because he first loved us."
She wrote, "We thank God for the love bestowed on us, but also for uniting us. Epaphras is the first love of my life. We met in church, from acquaintance to love, so far it has been more than four years."
"Today is a good day to announce that we are ready to step into another stage of life. At the same time, we will continue our efforts in our own work and fight to fulfill our dreams while preparing for our big day," she said.
She confirmed that they are tying the knot on 25 November.
Anjaylia also revealed that Epaphras went to get her parents' permission first before proposing to her in front of both families.
Rumours of an upcoming wedding between the two sparked recently when Anjaylia was seen looking at wedding gowns on her phone. When asked about it, the actress neither denied nor confirmed it, and shared that she will announce it herself when the time comes.
