Anita Yuen: I have never been to college!
22 Oct – Hong Kong actress Anita Yuen is feeling uncomfortable that false information about her is still on the internet - that she has a far higher education than what she actually has.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actress revealed on a reality show recently that she previously looked up information about herself online and was perplexed after finding out that some websites stated that she graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, specifically in the Department of Design.
"This is not true at all. I have never been to college, so it is impossible to have graduated from that particular university," she said.
Anita, who made her showbiz debut in early '90s after winning Miss Hong Kong in 1990, shared that she started working as soon as she finished high school, and made her debut in "The Days of Being Dumb" two years after winning the said pageant.
Asked why she didn't correct the false information, the actress stated that she has tried many times before.
"I have complained about it more than ten years ago, but nobody corrected it. I feel very helpless! I need to remove it. I don't want to mislead people," she added.
