Angelababy to star in first business drama
28 Mar - Chinese model-actress Angelababy is set to make her post-partum return to acting with a new drama, "Entrepreneurial Age".
As reported on Rednet, the new drama, based on the best-selling book of the same name by Fu Yao, will be directed by An Jian of "Happy Beautiful Blooms" fame, and co-stars actor Huang Xuan.
In it, Angelababy will be playing the role of an analyst to Huang Xuan's entrepreneur, as the two characters work together to conquer the world of the internet business, and face various challenges along the way.
Aside from it being the actress' first drama project since giving birth to her first baby, "Entrepreneurial Age" is also described as the first ever business-related drama.
And while it will be her first time playing a businesswoman, Angelababy herself is no stranger to entrepreneurship. Known for her many investments, the actress has accumulated sufficient practical experiences to play her role in the drama.
Filming reportedly will begin in May for a 2018 broadcast.
