Angelababy learns to be frugal from grandmother
18 Oct - She recently won praises from netizens over her organisational skill and thrifty lifestyle, but according to Angelababy, that has always been the way she lived her life.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actress, who sat down for an interview recently shared that she learned everything there is about a frugal lifestyle when she was sent by her busy parents to live with her grandmother in Shanghai back she was just a little girl.
"I have a deep relationship with her. Even my first hard-earned money, I gave it all to her. I picked up her habits, which include her thriftiness," she said.
This, she added, also include the way she eats.
"Even when I am already full, I will make sure to eat everything, to the last grain of rice. My grandmother used to tell me that "You have to empty your bowl to show your respect to the farmers". I gradually developed this habit," she said.
Angelababy also stated that she is inspired by her grandmother to do the same with her son.
"I hope to slowly reduce the amount of jobs I take every year so that I can spend more time with my child. After all, childhood comes only once in your life," she added.
