Angela Bassett has admitted she's had "a little bit" of Botox to maintain her flawless skin.
The Black Panther actress frequently receives praise for her immaculate complexion, with many fans commenting on how she doesn't appear to have aged since the '90s and remarking that she looks far younger than 61.
But in a new interview with NewBeauty magazine, Angela wasn't afraid to share that she's had some cosmetic work done to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
"Botox is no surprise!" she replied when asked what surprising beauty treatments she uses. "I'm a big supporter of being natural, but I've done it twice. Just a little bit, not too much - I still need to express myself. What else? I've tried Ultherapy, too."
Ultherapy is a safe, non-surgical ultrasound treatment. It uses the body's own regenerative response to gently and gradually lift skin and smooth lines and wrinkles.
Angela also visits dermatologist Dr. Pearl Grimes in Los Angeles, texts her masseuse whenever she needs a deep tissue massage, and will "find good aestheticians everywhere".
Elsewhere in the interview, the Otherhood star shared that she likes to experiment with skincare products but will stay away from make-up when she's off duty.
"I'm pretty passionate about keeping up with the skincare, especially being in front of the camera and on the stage. It's important. When I'm not on stage or on camera, I'm pretty sans make-up - I think it's good to keep a clear, clean fresh palette," she commented. "I am a potions and lotions girl, so if you make me promises, I'll give you a shot."
