Angel Locsin: I have tried my best!
22 Mar - Angel Locsin wants you to know that she has tried her very best to fulfill fans' wishes to see her in the Darna costume again before the studio decided to call it off.
As reported on PEP News, the actress, whose involvement in the long-delayed project has been cancelled by Star Cinema recently, shared that it was her training coach who reported to ABS-CBN that she is feeling the pain again in her back.
"I do get disappointed even though I know that I am putting myself at risk," she added.
Locsin stated that she has been very focused on her training prior to the announcement, and stressed that she has tried her best.
"The spirit is very willing but the flesh is weak," she said.
Locsin also stated that she is willing to help guide whoever the new actress that Star Cinema will pick to replace her as the iconic female superhero.
She also assured that this will not be the end for her, as ABS-CBN has arranged a lot of other projects for her, including the upcoming KathNiel fantasy drama, "La Luna Sangre".
