Angel Locsin to star in remake of French series, "Call My Agent!"

13 Jan – Angel Locsin is set to make her acting comeback with a remake of the French show, "Call My Agent".

The upcoming project is set to be helmed by Erik Matti, who stated that it has been a dream of his to work on such a project.

"When Dondon Monteverde and I were asked what we want to do for HBO, we were, almost at the same time, thought of remaking this show," he said. "We have ever since wanted to do a film or series about the movie industry we grew old in."

"Finally, we can do our tribute to a world where what goes on behind the glamour is as much or even more interesting than what we see in the movies," he added.

It has already been remade several times, including a British version, which was shot in 2021, a South Korean version, also produced in 2021, and a Bollywood one titled, "Called My Agent: Bollywood".

The show is also set to star Edu Manzano and will begin filming in April or May.
