30 Dec – Angel Locsin has recently been named the new ambassador of the Optical Media Board (OMB) anti-piracy campaign, #NgayonNa.

As reported on PEP, the news was announced by the agency itself during a press conference held last week, saying that the actress suited the role due to her image as a humanitarian and philanthropist.

Among the responsibilities to be held by Locsin are active participation in activities that promote the intellectual rights of producers, composers, and media creators.

"The General's Daughter" actress is known for her many charity work around the country and was even listed in Forbes' Asia's 2019 Heroes of Philanthropy earlier this month.

She is only the second artiste to be named the anti-piracy ambassador after Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual.
