Angel Chen reinvents Canada Goose classics with an Oriental flavor

The Canada Goose brand is launching a capsule collection for spring in collaboration with Chinese designer, Angel Chen, whose experimental approach fuses Eastern and Western aesthetics. The collection is due out from January 15, selling via selected stores and websites.

Angel Chen has previously collaborated with some of the biggest fashion houses and is currently one of China's most promising and most in-demand emerging talents. The designer stands apart with her unique aesthetic, which blurs the borders between East and West, while also shaking up styles with her timeless, unisex collections -- two strong trends for early 2021.

Canada Goose has invited Angel Chen to revisit some of its classics in a collaboration spanning modernity and tradition. The collaboration features 13 ready-to-wear items for men and women, and echoes the colorful world of the Chinese designer, with bold red and two shades of pink that are sure to make your spring look pop.

Standout pieces include the "Snow Mantra Cropped" women's parka, which can be turned around and worn two ways to change your look in an instant. The "Convertible Snow Mantra" hybrid men's parka can be worn in four different ways thanks to its removable bottom section, sleeves and hood. Alongside this, the designer plays with shape and proportions in a thoroughly modern way, reflecting her experimental approach.

The collection also includes a vest, a raincoat, a logo sweater, a down jacket, a bomber jacket, a hooded sweater, and a convertible bag. First unveiled at Shanghai Fashion Week in October, the collection is due out from January 15 in selected Canada Goose stores, via certain partner retailers and online at , TMall and WeChat.
