Andy Zhang's manager Bi Ying quits following rumoured affair
14 May – Chinese actor Andy Zhang recently revealed that his manager Bi Ying has already tendered her resignation.
As reported on Sina, the actor, who was accused of cheating on his wife with his said manager earlier this year, shared the news on social media in an attempt to address several rumours that sparked for the past few weeks.
"My agent knows that [the cheating rumours] has severely affected me, and decided to quit. She is currently in the midst of transferring her work [to other staff]," he wrote.
Andy also pleaded for the media and public alike not to further cause harm to his family and himself.
"It has not been easy for everyone involved," he said.
Andy's alleged romance with Bi Ying started last year, when sources accused the two of them of having an affair behind wife Catherine Hung's back.
While both parties have denied the rumours and Catherine defended him, the actor found himself being accused of cheating again after tabloids released a photo of him and his manager at a hotel.
