Andy Lau saddened over Stanley Ho, Leung Ki Wah's passing

28 May – Andy Lau recently expressed his condolences over the passing of both casino tycoon Stanley Ho and former TVB actress, Leung Kit Wah.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who starred in the '90s Wong Jing movies "Casino Tycoon" and "Casino Tycoon 2" said to be inspired by the billionaire's love life, was approached to comment about the news of Ho's death.

He expressed, "Mr. Ho has made a lot of contributions to the society throughout his life. I hope that he will have a good journey."

It is noted that the Macau tycoon once laughed when asked if the Wong Jing movie was about his love life, saying that he didn't have that many romances in his life.

On the other hand, Andy was also told about the death of former TVB actress Leung Kit Wah, who was also the wife of good friend Felix Wong, to which he responded, "[She will always be] in my heart."

Leung passed away recently after suffering multiple organ failures resulting from her struggle with leukaemia.
