Andy Lau attempts to secure HK Coliseum again

19 Feb – Andy Lau recently admitted that he will try his best to secure a spot at the Hong Kong Coliseum for the sake of his fans, who are unwilling to get refunds for their concert tickets.

As reported on Phoenix, the singer, who appeared at a Ma On Shan event on 17 February, confirmed his previous blog post - that he will continue to try and get the venue for dates starting February 2020 and won't stop until he gets them.

"Our target is to open ten shows. I have already arranged my schedule so that I would be free in next February. I will try my best and hope for tomorrow," he said.

It is noted that Andy previously tried to apply for a December 2019 concert to replace the previous seven shows he had to cancel due to his health condition, but failed to secure a spot.

Asked if he will find a sponsor, Andy said that he is still unsure about other things and will focus on getting the venue first.

As to whether he will add more shows if he succeeds in his effort, the singer responded, "It would depend on Hong Kong Coliseum's schedule. But I hope to get it for at least seven days. I hope I can make up for the seven cancelled shows."
