Andy Lau appears on video for first time since accident
25 Apr - Hong Kong actor Andy Lau recently released his first video since his accident to promote new movie, "Shock Wave".
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who couldn't join the cast in Kowloon Bay, was still present in spirit and through a two-minute clip that he pre-recorded to promote the movie.
Appearing fresh and healthy on camera albeit sitting on a wheelchair, Andy spoke in a hoarse voice as he thanked everybody for their support and cooperation, adding that "the crisis has been lifted".
Pointing upwards, he added, "God wants me to take an extended break and rest for a while. Hopefully, I will be able to see you all again once I am fit and well."
He also promised to do his best so that he could run and jump again soon.
