L’Oreal is a brand committed to diversity in every sense, with its inclusive ‘We are all worth it’ rebrand last year capturing headlines across the nation.

So what greater ambassador for the brand than Andie MacDowell, who, aged 60, walked L’Oreal’s second ever catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week showing that women can be fabulous at any age?

Wearing a rainbow, sequin Elie Saab dress, Andie definitely dazzled and appeared to be having the time of her life.

The ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ star took to the catwalk alongside the likes of Eva Longoria – who gave birth to her first child, Santi, in June. Cheryl also made a surprise appearance, wearing a metallic number by ‘it’ label Off-White.

Body-positive model Iskra Lawrence wore Balmain and actress Elle Fanning wore Miu Miu. Thylane Blondeau (who has previously been dubbed “The most beautiful girl in the world”) looked sharp in Elie Saab.

Andie first captured the nation’s hearts on the big screen with starring roles in ‘Green Card’ (1990) and ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ (1994). Prior to that, in the 80s, she modelled for the likes of Vogue, and starred in campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent and Armani perfume.

She told Vogue US: “I haven’t walked a show in a long time. I’m in the process—and have been in the process—of ageing.

“And with L’Oréal, I’ve really been able to [spread the message] that there’s no time limit on beauty.”

“It’s a journey, but you can’t go back in time. I don’t want to pretend to be what I’m not and have never been ashamed of my age.

“I want to be positive about right where I am at each stage of my life.”
