Andi Eigenmann returns with a new movie
25 Jun – Two years after her last movie "Camp Sawi", Andi Eigenmann is back on the big screen with a new movie, "The Maid in London".
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress who appeared alongside her co-star Matt Evans at the press conference held recently, shared that she plays the role of Margo, a young OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) who decides to work as a maid in London in order to help her family.
At the same time, Margo also faces the challenges of being an illegal alien in a foreign country.
Speaking to the media at the event, Eigenmann clarified yet again her previous post about leaving the showbiz life, saying that she wasn't talking about retiring from her career as an actress.
"I just wanted to give myself another chance to do "me". It didn't mean I wanted to quit the life of an actor," she said.
The actress also stated that she has no issue returning to Manila for a project, even though she is now based in Baler.
"The Maid in London" is set to premiere this 4 July.
