Andi Bernadee lodges police report against good friend
26 Aug –Singer Andi Bernadee recently turned to the police to lodge a report against his close friend for alleged defamation and breach of trust.
The singer, real name Andi Azrul Andi Mapangile, appeared at the Dang Wangi District Police Headquarters at 10.30am on 25 August, stating that he was disappointed by the whole case, as the person in question is someone whom he trusted a lot.
"This person embarrassed me, slandered me, made up stories about me to producers and friends while stealing my money. I did not get to spend at all the nearly RM70,000 that I made acting and working for a clothing company," he said.
Andi stated that the said friend stole the money by manipulating his WhatsApp account and asking clients to direct payments to his own private account.
"When I asked him about it, he said that the receipt was lost and that the clients had not paid me, even though it was him who stole the money," he said.
The singer revealed that he decided to lodge the report after receiving no response from the said person to discuss the issue.
