Ruco Chan announces engagement with Phoebe Sin
12 Sep – TVB actor Ruco Chan recently announced that he and girlfriend Phoebe Sin are tying the knot soon.
As reported on Mingpao, the announcement came a few days after the couple arrived home from their trip to London, with both Ruco and Phoebe sharing their pre-wedding photos on social media.
Said Ruco, "I had been such a workaholic in the past; that is until Phoebe appeared in my life and made me understand the meaning of true happiness and trust."
"I am very traditional when it comes to love, so I will try my best to start our own family. I hope that you will give us your blessings," he added.
Ruco also revealed that he has been planning to propose to Phoebe for a long time, and finally did so while they were in Hong Kong, though it was reenacted again while they were doing the photo shoot in London.
As for their upcoming wedding, Ruco shared that the two of them will be registering their marriage in October.
"As for the other arrangements, we will announce it later," he added.
Ruco and Phoebe's relationship was first reported in the media back in early 2017 after they were caught having a lunch date together. However, the actor, who was romantically linked to onscreen partner Nancy Wu at the time, denied it and stated that Phoebe was just his stylist.
It was not until July this year that Ruco finally admitted that he has plans to marry the Miss Hong Kong alumna.
