Former Channel 8 actor Joshua Ang, who got married last weekend, has announced that his wife is pregnant.

Ang, 29, best known for his role in director Jack Neo’s film I Not Stupid, told 8 DAYS magazine that his wife, flight attendant Shannon Low, is expecting.

The couple had their wedding at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa on Saturday (3 March). Ang’s co-star in I Not Stupid, Shawn Lee, attended the ceremony too.

Ang acted in Channel 8 dramas such as Your Hand In Mine and Unriddle, and in local movies Homerun and Timeless Love. He is currently working in a liquor company after leaving showbiz in 2012.

Ang met Low, who is now 27, two years ago when he was studying at Murdoch University.

He posted photos of the wedding on Instagram on Wednesday (7 March), including shots of the couple posing next to old school automobile vehicles such as a Volkswagen Beetle and Volkswagen Kombi, which were part of their wedding entourage.

In his post, he thanked everyone for making their special day magical, especially his wife. “The best is yet to be,” he added.
