Trump state visit: Americans thank Royal Family for 'babysitting [their] garbage'
Donald Trump and his family were welcomed by the Royal Family yesterday on the first day of the three-day state visit, which culminated in a state banquet at Buckingham Palace.
The US president donned a tux while wife Melania wore a white column dress by Dior.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also among the members of the Royal Family to join the Queen at the white-tie dinner.
Kensington Palace posted photos from the banquet on their Instagram account and it was then flooded with comments from Americans.

President Trump’s state visit is said to be one of the most controversial in recent years, with protests planned across London on Tuesday.
He’d already caused outrage before arriving in the capital yesterday, when he called London Mayor Sadiq Khan a “stone cold loser” on Twitter.
