Installing a dock does not come cheap. HomeAdvisor.com, an online marketplace for home services, compiled data from customer projects and estimated the average dock to cost approximately $14,621. But besides the initial cost, docks require annual maintenance and are easily subject to damages in cases of inclement weather. Fortunately, Amazon is selling a product that gives you a taste of the dock life for only a fraction of the cost and labor.

Enter the Island Hopper Patio Dock! Comfortably holding up to 2,000 pounds (on average 10 people), this 15' x 6' x 6" inflatable patio dock serves as an extension to a sports boat or pontoon. It's perfect for sunbathing, tube launching, swimming, and more. It is also composed of a durable EVA foam and is equipped with a non-slip surface to ensure safety as users come in and out of the water.

This sizable platform is designed to complement a large watercraft and not to exist on its own. By attaching it to a boat, it creates somewhat of a study stage for users to either relax on or launch off their water activities. The patio dock features welded stainless d-rings, carrying handles, and top and bottom welded web-loops for secure anchoring and/or holding accessories.

You can snag the Island Hopper Patio Dock for a cool $1,399.99. It includes an auto-set electric inflator, a double-action hand pump, stow straps, and repair patches. There is also a 5-year limited warranty. You can check it out here.
