Amazon Prime Video UK: Everything coming in May 2020

If you’re stuck at home like a lot of the nation, don’t worry, there’s plenty of good stuff coming to streaming in May.
On Amazon Prime Video some of the highlights include the second season of hit drama Homecoming, Upload, the new sitcom from The Office’s (US) Greg Daniels, and a new comedy special from Jimmy O. Yang.
The streaming service has also announced that he highly anticipated drama series Little Fires Everywhere, executive produced and starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, will launch exclusively on Prime Video in the UK and other select countries and territories on Friday 22 May.
Based on Celeste Ng’s 2017 bestseller, Little Fires Everywhere follows the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood – and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.
“Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington spearheaded Little Fires Everywhere both as talented producers with their production companies Hello Sunshine and Simpson Street, and as outstanding actors,” said Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios. “Together with Liz Tigelaar, they have created the type of exciting, exclusive TV content our customers love.”
Amazon has also made made a wealth of kids’ content available for free without a Prime Video subscription needed, including Peppa Pig, Just Add Magic and In The Night Garden.
