The royal wedding is the gift that keeps on giving isn’t it?

Since Saturday, when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were wed at St. George’s Chapel in front of millions, the day has been slowly dissected.

It seems the public’s appetite for the day is still insatiable (and we can totally relate), with fans rewatching the events of the day even now.

With this, we’re still being treated to not-seen-before snippets that were missed the first time around.

Here’s all of the incredible royal wedding moments you probably missed on the day itself…

Prince Harry waved to African orphan he met 14 years ago

As Harry and best man Prince William walked up to the Chapel on the day of the wedding, Harry can be spotted pointing and waving excitedly into the crowd of guests just outside the chapel entrance.

The Daily Mail report that Harry was waving at Mutsu Potsane, an African orphan who first met Harry when he was four-years-old while Harry was on a charity mission during his gap year.

In the footage, Harry can be seen waving to Mutsu, now 18, before giving a thumbs up to his friend who he bonded with all those years ago.

Harry and Mutsu emotionally reunited in 2016 when Harry returned on another trip.

Mutsu was among one of 10 representatives from Harry’s charity, Sentebale, that were invited to the wedding.

We’re not crying you are.

Meghan’s tiara had a detachable brooch

We found out not long after Meghan emerged from her hotel wearing a glistening tiara, that it was borrowed from the late Queen Mary.

But it seems there was more to the stunning piece of headwear that first meets the eye.

Apparently, the Queen’s Diamond Bandeau tiara, which dates back to 1932, features a detachable brooch.

Clever, huh?

The floral-shaped suspended brooch in the centre is made of a large round diamond, set among smaller diamonds that make up the crown of the piece.

Multi-use tiaras are now the best kind of tiaras, FYI.

Harry kept stroking the diamond that used to belong to his mother in Meghan’s engagement ring

Throughout the ceremony, it appeared Harry was quietly reflecting on his late mother Princess Diana.

As the pair sat in the Chapel listening to the service, Harry could be seen repeatedly fiddling with Meghan’s engagement ring as they held hands.

Specifically, Harry appeared to be be playing close interest to one of the outer diamonds which used to belong to his mother before her death.

The Duchess of Cambridge has worn her Alexander McQueen outfit three times before

The Duchess of Cambridge‘s lemon-coloured Alexander McQueen outfit that she wore on Harry and Meghan’s big day was not a new purchase.

The 36-year-old had worn the long-sleeved dress (which looks dangerously close to white in the sunshine) not one but three times before.

She first wore the look in July 2015 to Princess Charlotte’s christening, then a year later to the Trooping the Colour in 2016, and once more in 2017 during a royal visit to Belgium.

You know what they say: if it ain’t broke…

Meghan waved to her drama teacher

Prince Harry wasn’t the only one to spot an old familiar face on his wedding day.

During the couple’s procession through Windsor, Meghan spotted her old drama teacher Gigi Perreau in the crowd and briefly mouthed “Oh my God!” before the carriage zoomed off.

In the footage obtained by TV presenter Alex Beresford, Perreau can be seen overjoyed that she’d been recognised.

Beresford explained that moments before he had asked the drama mentor and 1940s film star if she thinks Meghan would recognise her and she said yes.

Idris Elba and Oprah bonded

One of our favourite parts of the wedding was spying which high-profile celebs were chatting with each other.

The Beckham’s seemed to form a huddle with Elton John and David Furnish while George and Amal Clooney were chatting away happily with Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian.

But there was one friendship we were most thrilled about: Idris Elba and Oprah.

Fans spotted the actor and the chat show host legend nattering away as they entered the Chapel.

Here for it.

Tom Hardy mouthing the Lord’s Prayer in the most Tom Hardy way ever

Having shaved his head for his latest film role as Al Capone, Tom Hardy looked like the ultimate gangster wedding guest.

But it was when he recited the Lord’s Prayer as if still in character than got everyone laughing…

Oh Tom.
