"I Am Not Madame Bovary" gets AFA top prize


24 Mar - Feng Xiaogang's "I Am Not Madame Bovary" has won the top awards at the recently held Asian Film Awards.

The movie, which tells the story of a woman who petitions the legal system after being slandered by her ex-husband, won Best Picture, Best Actress for Fan Bingbing, and Best Cinematography for Luo Pan.

Feng, who appeared at the press conference after the show, shared that he is grateful for the recognition.

He is also happy for Fan and Luo, who have shown their dedication to the movie.

Best Cinematography: Luo Pan (I AM NOT MADAME BOVARY)

Best original Music: Mowg (THE AGE OF SHADOWS)

Best Costume Design: Jo Sang-gyeong (THE HANDMAIDEN)
Best Production Design: Ryu Seong-hee (THE HANDMAIDEN)

Best Visual Effects: Tetsuo Ohya (SHIN GODZILLA)
Best Sound: Fang Tao, Hao Zhiyu (CROSSCURRENT)
