Speaking to E!’s Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet during the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday, Alison Brie addressed the recent sexual misconduct allegations made against her brother-in-law James Franco. James, who skipped the red carpet but did attend the ceremony, has been accused of misconduct by five women according to a Los Angeles Times report. According to the L.A. Times, the actor's attorney disputed all of the allegations.

Alison, who is married to James’s brother Dave, said on the red carpet Sunday, “I think that above all what we’ve always said is that it remains vital that anyone who feels victimized should and does have the right to speak out and come forward. I obviously support my family, and not everything that’s been reported is fully accurate, so I think we’re waiting to get all of the information. But of course now is a time for listening, and that’s what we’re all trying to do.”

Prior to the L.A. Times report, James appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and addressed the sexual misconduct allegations made against him on Twitter in wake of his Golden Globes win. James, who was also criticized for wearing a #TimesUp pin to the awards show, said at the time that the allegations were “not accurate.” He added, “The way I live my life, I can’t live if there’s restitution to be made. I will make it. So, if I’ve done something wrong, I will fix it. I have to.”
