Michael Biehn, the star of Aliens and The Terminator, has signed up for the next series of Star Wars spin-off series The Mandalorian.
According to reports, he will play a bounty hunter from the Mandalorian's past, but that's as much as we know so far.
Biehn is a long-time collaborator of James Cameron, having appeared in The Terminator, Aliens and The Abyss, as well as movies like Tombstone and The Rock.
He joins a handful of new personnel on Jon Favreau's Disney+ series, including the recently announced Rosario Dawson.
She's set to play Ahsoka Tano, a favourite from the Star Wars Clone Wars animated series, and a former apprentice to Anakin Skywalker.
According to Making Star Wars, which broke the Beihn news, Bill Burr will be returning as Mayfield for season two, along with Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito .
Pedro Pascal will also, obviously, be returning as the masked protagonist The Mandalorian aka Din Djarin.
UK audiences will now be able to – finally – catch up with US audiences having already watched the first series in its entirety, after Disney+ finally launched in the UK this week.
